Jen+Mike

Mariann October 14th, 2008

We started out the engagement session with Jen and Mike and Yoshi in Gramercy near their apartment.

After a quick tour in the neighborhood we headed up to Central Park and we finished the session at Grand Central.  I really enjoyed getting to know Jen and Mike and of course Yoshi!

Amy and Harlan’s wedding

Mariann October 10th, 2008

Amy and Harlan got married at Pellegrini Vineyard just as the sun was setting.

The day was full of unique details and elements that really showed off the couple’s personality.

Here are some of my favorite moments and details.

The couple’s son, Porter, was the ring bearer.

The gorgeous bouquets and floral pieces were by Lovin’ Over Floral Designs.

Porter kept blowing on Amy’s bouquet like it was birthday cake with candles.  Too cute!

The couple decided to have a cheese cake instead of a traditional wedding cake.  Four different kind of cheese wheels were stacked and decorated.  It looked amazing!

Amy and Harlan have a great taste in music and their reception music reflected that well.

They had a band and a DJ: Hydroyum and DJ Brandon.

Connie and Tom tied the knot!

Mariann October 9th, 2008

Connie and Tom had their outside ceremony and reception at the Westmount Country Club in New Jersey.

The perfect weather let us do all the formal portraits outside at the Lambert Castle which was a great backdrop for photos.

Here are some highlights from Connie and Tom’s special day.

The vibe in the groom’s room is always so different from the bride’s.  Here is Tom with his dad and brother.

Tom and Connie’s first meeting - I love this series!

Connie and Tom incorporated the tea ceremony into their wedding ceremony.

The officiant was Connie’s brother, Eddie, and the couple wrote their own vows.

Connie and Tom’s first dance started out as slow swing then half way into the dance it turned into a surprise cha cha.  They did a fantastic job!

The tables were named after movies and shows the couple played roles in.

The always excellent Eturnity Band provided the music.

Connie and Tom had a slide show made from family and childhood photos.

Tom surprised Connie with a special song dedicated to her.

Make up and hair by the wonderful Sachiko Yanase.

Flowers by Pedestals Florist.

Connie’s custom wedding gown was made by Atelier Elen Paumere Couture.

Custom stationary design and event coordination by Limor and Monica from Koru Event Design.

Congratulations to Connie and Tom, a very special couple!

Ginger and Andrew’s wedding

Mariann October 8th, 2008

Ginger and Andrew, a Manhattan couple, chose the picturesque natural setting of the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Pennsylvania for their wedding ceremony and reception.  The outside ceremony site was overlooking the Pocono mountains.

Here are some highlight images from their special day:

Amber+Bob

Mariann October 7th, 2008

Amber and Bob wanted to have their engagement portraits taken at locations that express their personalities.

Being a teacher and a writer, they thought the library is the perfect spot and being nature lovers Central Park was a great second location.

Here are some of my favorite images.

Stacey+Keith

Mariann September 28th, 2008

Stacey and Keith who had a winter wedding wanted to do a summer after wedding portrait session on the beach. We got to Jones beach just around sunset time and had a great time frolicking on the beach. The camera loves this couple because they are so natural and have a great chemistry.
