Jenny and James’ Manhattan wedding

I was really looking forward to Jenny and James’ wedding. It was my first wedding to photograph in 2008 and it was a truly amazing event!
The couple said “I do” in Grace Church and celebrated with friends and families at 24 Fifth.
Jenny wore a beautiful Demetrios gown and she looked absolutely stunning! The bouquets and centerpieces were created by super talented mother and daughter team, Designs by Rose.
The Hank Lane band provided the music and the dance floor was packed all night! Jenny and James spent a lot of time dancing and celebrating as well.
At then end of the night the couple took a get away car, aka NYC yellow cab, to Grand Central station, where we finished the day with some portraits.
Jenny and James are so in love and such a lovely couple, it was a pleasure photographing their wedding.

This is one of my most favorite images of the day: Jenny and Leah riding down the elevator to the take the limo to the church. They were so excited they couldn’t help themselves!!

The parent dances were so touching! Jenny’s dad also gave a wonderful and warm speech and welcomed James to the family.

In Grand Central Station: even though it was 11.35PM on Saturday night, there are still plenty of people in Grand Central. Lots of people came up to Jenny and James and congratulated them and wished them well. Everyone loves newlyweds!!
The last shot of the day: Jenny and James getting into the elevator at the Hyatt to go up to their room. Isn’t it a fantastic shot?? I love it!
