Janice and Jack picked great locations for their engagement session.

We got very lucky with the weather because it was a sunny and clear November day. We started out in Central Park, made a quick stop at the LOVE sign on 6th Avenue and finished the session in Chinatown.

It was a really fun afternoon and we all learned a little bit about each other (Janice is the only person I know who did several scavenger hunts in the city), (Jack loves old New York City architecture) and we run into the Thoth as well.   :smile:

I was so excited to see Caroline, Rob and baby Ella again. It’s been five months since I photographed their wedding and they drove all the way from Rhode Island to the city for a family portrait session. This is going to be Ella’s first winter so she is still deciding if she will like the cold weather or not. It was a bright but chilly November morning.
We took portraits all over Central Park then had a little play time at FAO Schwarz.

Here are some beautiful photos from the session.

Ella was fascinated by the fountain and the dogs in the park.

Here, Ella is showing off her newly learned tricks such as sticking out her tongue!

And a couple “newlywed lovebirds” portraits of the parents while the baby was napping.

It was so great to see Caroline, Rob and baby Ella. I had a blast taking their photos.

I met up with Jannelle and Fun in DUMBO for their engagement session. I love this part of Brooklyn and I was excited when the couple chose this location.

We only walked around a few blocks but the neighborhood is so versatile and there are lots of great backdrops and spots in a relatively small area.

Jannelle and Fun were great to photograph and they even gave me a sneak peak of their waltz they are practicing for the wedding.

I had a wonderful time getting to know Jen and Mike and hanging out with them. The couple is planning a summer wedding in California and they had a New York fall engagement session in mind. We started with some beautiful classic portraits in Central Park then we headed down to the Meatpacking District and the West Village for some urban and edgy shots. Here are some of my favorites.

I love the autumn colors and the light in this photo. So romantic!

We had a chance to see an amazing sunset just over Jersey City and took advantage of the lovely sunset colors.

Justine and Christian got married at the picturesque Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, Connecticut.

It was my last wedding of this year to photograph and it was such a beautiful wedding to end an amazing season with!

Here are some of my favorite moments.

Nicole Miller not only custom designed Justine’s dress, but she was there on the wedding day as a guest and also helped Justine with her gown and shoes.

The bridesmaids also wore Nicole Miller Collection.

The junior dream team: 4 flower girls, a ringbearer and Storm, the couple’s black lab.
